PNB MetLife India Insurance has launched the PNB MetLife 360 Health Saving Plan, a health-focused unit-linked insurance plan (ULIP) that combines wellness support and market-linked savings to help customers manage healthcare expenses while building long-term financial security, the company announced on August 1.
Key features: a Health Management System (HMS) with mental health services, digital assessments and online doctor consultations; optional riders covering hospitalisation for over 250 surgeries and procedures (including day-care treatments) and up to 60 listed critical illnesses; family coverage for up to five members; a smart withdrawal facility from the end of the fifth policy year; and life and accident protection with stable rider premiums.
MD & CEO Sameer Bansal said out-of-pocket spending remains a significant share of India's total health expenditure, and the plan is designed to complement traditional health coverage amid rising medical inflation.
